Black Roof Lining?

Was wondering if anyone could help me prob posting this in the wrong place. What colour is the headline in a scirocco gt 170bhp with dsg gearbox. Is it grey/black because have seen diffrent. if its not black can you get black fitted instead. Thanks

Might depend on where you're buying your car from. In Finland the black headlining is standard only in the 2.0 TSI and to get it with any other engine you need to spec "sport pack" (which also includes other stuff such as fog lights, Donington wheels etc.).

Roccoscientist: IF you're in the UK, 2.0TSI and R gets black rooflining, all other variants don't unless you order leather option, DSG/Xenon/SATNAV...doesn't matter, no leather = no black headlining if you don't have a 2.0TSI or an R.

Other markets have different add-on "packs" that may allow you to have the black headlining in exception to the rules above. You'll be getting grey on a 170DSG. In the UK, they will not deviate - you cannot ask for black headlining if your spec doesn't warrant it being added as standard (well, you can ask, but you won't get).
