Hi

Check out this link, I just found it today, looks like these bars are made to fit the 08 model. There is also a link on there for fitting instructions

Hey guys I've looked into this issue. I've come across this product which seems to overcome the need for the two straps to lean on the rear spoiler. It is the 'AVENIR high rise 3 bike boot fitting rack', from cyclex for around £100. You'll see that the height of it means it pulls the straps from above the rear window and no from below, as with other racks, including the 'bones' rack already mentioned. Worth a look! I have given up with the roof bar/roof rack options and decided to go down the bike bag route and put the seats down and just stick it straight in the boot. Saves on fuel too.
I can rely on my car, it's my Roc!!!

Im keen on the boot mounted rack idea as my bikes has hydrolic brakes, and no dought when I take off the front wheel ill end up pressing the front brake and get brake fluid all over the inside of my car.:-)

Has anyone solved the rear bike carrier problem?

I have a bones rack but am concered about the roof catches - the rack clips under the boot door so the rear bumber not a problem....but not sure the roof spoiler will hold?
