I have now the same problem with my TDI 140........... and i didn'nt fill up the tank with petrol......
the car start fine when cool and have a bit diffilculty starting when is hot...... like you a need 3 ou 4 trys for him to start....

if the car stay stoped for 1 hour or so...... starts fine. but if i stop for 5 minutes........... just don't want to go again

any other guys with the same problem.................??

Looks like this thread has not been commented on in 18 months (9 year old thread) so sadly not much hope of a response I’m afraid.
