Well considering Renault Lotus is the "official" (their court claim) Lotus and Team Lotus is merely a purchase of the brand rights, i have to say Team Lotus have the better looking car !!

was lucky enough late last year to meet Ed Wood chief designer for Williams, top guy and a great engineeing mind and a real petrol head, he was pleased with their kers system given Williams carried on developing it and have their own hybrid power offshoot which has been working on Porsche GT programme and felt Williams were now used to working with a smaller team and reduced staff and felt others were still in for a shock

Those side pods are rather interesting!!! Wonder who's gonna copy that design if it's proven to improve airflow to rear wing and hence aid downforce!!

Reno's exhaust, McLaren's sidepods.... Some of the more daring changes since the Williams "tusk nose".

Really cannot wait till the start of the season.

Also, I want Paffett to have a go at some point in a McLaren. If Button moves on (as I just don't see Hamilton moving), I'd like them to reward Paffett for his loyalty. He ain't exactly bad considering what he does in DTM when he's there.

BBC wrote:Formula 1 star Robert Kubica has suffered fractures to his left arm and left leg after a high-speed rally crash in Italy, BBC Sport understands.

The 26-year-old Pole crashed into a church wall and was air-lifted to a hospital near Genoa.

A spokeswoman for his British-based Renault team told Reuters the driver was conscious and a statement would be issued shortly.

It looks unlikely he will be ready for the new season, starting on 13 March.

Kubica's injuries are not thought to be life-threatening, but following surgery to his left arm in 2003 after crashing in a Formula 3 race, there will be some doubts about his ability to continue in the sport.

Enjoying himself I guess.
Could just as easily have been hit by a bus crossing the road.

Renault have confirmed that Kubica's hand will not be amputated and that it's unlikely he will be fit for Bahrain. #F1

Kubica is currently still in surgery. Whether he can actually regain use of his hand is unknown, and will not be determined immediately. #F1

Looks like Bruno Senna or Roman Grosjean will get promoted then for time being.

Handy for the others really as Kubica was looking good in pre season testing.

Sounds like a length of armco speared through the car. He's a lucky boy.

Two lines from twitter.

A doctor of Robert Kubica's says he will remain in intensive care for at least 5 days and his hand will take at least a year to heal #F1

The surgeon said it could take 'at least a week' for definite news on Robert's hand

gotta say WTF will Renault say about it behind the scenes as they will not be impressed like Redbull wasn`t with Weber but he knew that and kept his injury quiet.

All the cars really look the same when you remove the paint but the McLaren doesn`t. Will it be like the Braun was or just at the back trying to catch up?
Interesting
