Steve and i are attacking the R on Sunday, I do most things, Coilovers, Brakes, exhaust, Xenons, Engine Mounts, in fact anything. Steve and I are using the R as a bit of a Guinea pig, for the camera. I will be cutting holes in the rear bumper apron![]()
, whilst Sausage fingers sorts the BT out. Fixed and played with more complex things than a VW.
BT is here, as is all the camera stuff. Bought the centre Cup holder stuff today, just waiting for one of the rubber mat things (for the ashtray) so it can go in tomorrow.
No need to leave the car on when you stop IMO, if you are bothered just take the last few miles of the journey steady, as for the alloys i just took a spare set of 19" Talladegas to the refurbers and was thinking about black but i chickened out LOL, went for a dark anthracite in the endayc1985 wrote:thanks for the comments. Quick question for you lot, I drove 100 miles today (33 mpg!) and I left my car running for a few mins when I finally stopped, is this the right way to do it?
What is the procedure for long journeys and shutdown?
Thanks.
