20-25,000 for me. Picked my car up on the 1st July with 5.5 miles on the clock, made it past 2,000 this afternoon. If I was an accountant, I would probably have gone for 170 diesel but I love petrol and am thrillled with my 2.0tsi.
It sounds great and is showing between 31 and 35 to a gallon at the moment. Off to the Lake district on Thursday so it will be interesting to see what I get on the way up there versus what I get on some of those excellent windy roads (Caravans permitting).

I'm an accountant...and I'd never get a Diesel (unless it had 2 turbos then i might consider it).
i should average around 12k miles a year in the R.
But I've just gone past 7.5k miles since picking up the car 5 months ago! Ooops.

[quote="caprinolaw"]Id be interested to know how many miles people drive (on average) per annum and see whether there is any direct link between the choice of TSI or TDI engines.
About 35k, mine is just under 4 months old and has 13000 on it, so far have achieved 41mpg
I love my car, its taken years off me

Not much, averaging 15000 kms so about 9000 miles. Never getting the moneys worth buying a new car but car ownership never was about making sense, and I would consider a diesel if not in the Roc so at least in our other "grown up" car, currently a Volvo v70 2,5FT, but that could just as well have been a diesel Beamer or Audi hadn't the girlfriend been so keen on having yet another Volvo.

I do about 20k per year around 60 miles each day. Diesel was the way forward for me. Hurts so much less at the pumps. My old golf TDI was getting about 50mpg, roc seems to be much the same so far, but early days.
