For interest this is the technology behind the Mobility self-sealing tyres that will be fitted....

From my experience, Continental tyres wear out faster than you can say where the f.... did my tyres go !!!
Added to this, I guess these James Bond jobbies won't be cheap,
I wonder how many people will fit a second set

Many thanks for that RW1, but VW only fit these tyres currently to the Passat CC which has a full size alloy spare wheel as standard. I remain very concerned that the non-R Roc may lose its steel space saver spare wheel.

Spanish language, you mean.

Those new symbols in the Multifunction Steering Wheel are well cool, I should have waited for those... not!
I must say the Daytona alloys look great judging by that picture.

Just for kicks, I've had a go at translating the text (with the help of Google):
- Hill-start assist standard across the entire range (previously standard for DSG gearboxes only); €20 RRP price increase for affected engines.
New 'Beam Wizard' option: switches between main beam and dipped headlights as appropriate, when a vehicle is detected approaching from the opposite direction.
New 'Keyless Access' option: access to and starting of the vehicle without removing the key from your pocket.
New ESP deactivation light.
New navigation symbols on the right-hand MFSW controls.
Rear TSI logo becomes TSI on the 160bhp Scirocco
Self-sealing tyres standard (extra €90 RRP) on these wheels:
- Scirocco R
Interlagos (PJ3)
R-Line packages and R-Line Leather
New Daytona 18" alloy wheels (same price as Interlagos)
New insights audio equipment:
- RCD 510: QHR passes RHZ
RNS 510: R2A passes R2Z
Excite Dynadio discover our exclusive special sound must be ordered through the new optional 9VE
[struggled with the radio stuff
]
New colour in the code: X3X3 - Grey Indy (replaces Grey Berillo M8M8).
New 'Volkswagen Universal Bluetooth' pre-installed hands-free with HFP technology, compatible with most phones on the market.
New 'Volkswagen Universal Bluetooth Plus', pre-installed hands-free with HFP and RSAP technology, compatible with most phones on the market.
New tinted side and rear windows option.
I'm assuming Spain don't have the tinted windows option already as it's available in the UK, unless of course a new style of tint(!) is going to be offered.
I'm really keen to see what those Daytonas would look like on a 'Roc, especially as they're the same price as the Interlagos...
The Beam Wizard sounds intriguing, too. I wonder what the price will be on this and some of the other options, like key-less entry for example... Presumably not all of these options will be available in all countries and therefore some may not be offered in the UK?

Hmm. Not sure about them on the Passat CC. Makes me think of the
607...
Maybe they'd look better on a 'Roc? Seeing as the wheels are already available for other models, I wonder if anyone's tried them?

in italy there will be also the rear camera but I don't know where it will be placed

as you know the vw logo isn't the same of the Golf VI...

There are definitely differences between country editions of Sciroccos. I looked at the Spanish website, played around with configuration and their February catalogue to find quite a few basics no longer available in the UK such as the RCD310, old Multifunction SW and never seen alloys. Colours are also limited but actually cheaper, go figure.
Surprise was to find these among the options:
- Daytone 18" alloys in sterling silver
- Keyless engine start with remote
Unfortunately the Portuguese VW website is down, which may mean some reserved surprises too.

Not quite as clever placement as the Golf imo.

Kev wrote:MY2011 (introduced at week 22 of 2010)
* Second ESP lamp in instrument cluster so there are separate on/off lights.
* Flat tyre indicator fitted as standard on cars with 17" and 18" wheels.
* Mobility self-sealing tyres standard.
* Hill hold function added to all manual gearbox cars (already standard on DSG).
* Opal Silver, Pewter Grey and Shadow Blue colours discontinued.
* Silver Leaf, Indium Grey and Night Blue colours added.
* 1.4 160PS TSI - TSI badge is now all red instead of just a red S and I.
* Scirocco R - Tyre repair kit replaced with a space-saving spare wheel.
Is this list final, or do you think that there may be some others incorporated last minute per the list from the Continent?
