Cheers.. that wold be appreciated. Might try to get my mitts on a demo first so I can really give it a proper push... whilst also scaring the crappy salesman within an inch of his life.CTRnutter wrote:Its not too bad, I get use of my brothers Mk 5 R32 as frequently as I use the Rocco and it must be said the grip levels on the R32 are in another league but as far as cornering goes they're not worlds apart as you might imagine, I'd be happy to take you for a spin if you come along to one of the meetsR32uk wrote:Cheers CTR!!
Quite a few people did comment on how supprisingly quick the rocco was. And even with the FWD boys struggling with traction that was a decent time as std. I think the first and only mod I would look to do would be a remap.... over on the gti forum it seems that revo is probably the way to go, although the difference in gains offered by others is negligble really.
Having not driven the rocco (yet) does it wheel spin really easy?? How easy or difficult is it to get the power down?
Admittedly Im still considering getting staying in the R32 as it just does everything sooo well (inc drink) but have previously changed my car every 2yrs and went down the same route with my r32 lease. Only problem is that the hand over time is fast approaching but I would happily keep it for another 3yrs if I could
Just become so dependent on the handling and low down torque that driving anything else seem like a bit of a drag
