putting it plainly Martin, they may have said there was allocation for it to go 'straight to the factory' but they were telling you what you wanted to hear. once they have the money thats what they do, sorry.

Hi Blakest, I ordered mine from VW Bury too, ordered on 11th Nov, confirmed build week8 which means it will start to go into production sometime this week to be complete by end of next week......SKF use group allocations, not specific to the individual dealer, so their early allocations may have been used up by the time you got your order in!!! Keep pestering Dino, I do

Martin, at least you got it before the price rise, so you'll be saving a few quid there....and also, any teething probs will be ironed out by the time you get yours...i'm trying to make you feel better, hope its working, if only a little

Hi mate, thanks for the info, I went to see the Sales Manager yesterday about the timeframe and he mentioned your car, he said I can pop down to the showroom when its ready to have a look, hope you dont mind! I havent gone for a leather interior however still havent seen one in cloth, have you seen one, does it look awful as everybody else seems to have gone for leather -still no pictures in the dealerships :?

The R cloth interior is going to look mint in the Rocco. There are heaps of pics around of cloth interiors.

Also, its unique to the R rather than the standard poor quality black leather/vinyl (only a little of it is actually leather) that WILL look shabby in just a few months ;)

Don't mind at all, i'm going to go the day it comes off the trailor so if you want, you can come and drool with me :D

And from the pics i've seen, the cloth trim looks mint, sort of wish i'd stuck with the cloth maself as my current Roc has leather so would have been a nice change...the only one thing that put me off is the fact the white parts of the seat would get mucky but im sure regular cleaning, which i've slacked on lately, would keep it mint!!

Not seen one in person, just pics on the forum dude, can't wait to see one in the flesh :D

Hopefully It should be here in about 3 weeks or so, can't wait, time's dragging, i just want now!!!

It's not gonna get stained, Audi have used light coloured alcantara in interiors for years and i've never sen any that have stained.

Just all the 'Leather' owners trying to justify the cost of their vinyl, sorry leather interiors

for once ;) listen to Andy & if you're that worried buy a nice big can of scotch guard & spray the seats before you do any significant amounts of driving

No I have to say leather is the best choice Andy.

Pic below of seats from a Lancia Integrale which need to be redone. leather is a whole lot easier to maintain - it wears better and lasts longer. its worth the extra premium - I have 2 kids and I know what a mess they can make!! ;)

I cant imagine leather on an Integrale is going to look perfect either to be honest!

I stated to VW that people who had orderd much later than me with pretty much the same spec where getting there cars sooner, She seemed to think this was impossible. She said if I could get the comms numbers she could check as she is sure this is not true??? oh the anger I had. Like im going to be able to gather up other comms numbers

i know its frustrating for you Martin, but i'm sure you're well aware of the waiting time for Rocs at the mo.

My dealer didn't give me the month of when mine would arrive when i placed the order. They did guarantee my PX price till April, at which point it would start to come down should the car still not arrive. Thats all they said. I only got my build week info once people started reporting theirs on here, and that was start of Jan I think. So i never got my hopes up of it arriving on time or earlier than expected.

Yes some people may have ordered in Jan and got a confirmed BW already. But if their cars are poverty spec then its only understandable that that car would get built first cos its easier.

You just need to sit tight and wait for it to arrive. With all the trimmings selected, I'm sure you don't want Pedro to rush it and fit some of those things incorrectly
