I've got a Sandisk USB stick plugged in to mine. This USB stick glows orange whenever its connected to a live supply, laptop etc. It only glows in the Roc when the ignition is switched on. Well actually when the ignition and the RCN510 are switches on as both go on and off together normally. I'll have to try and see whether just turning on the radio fires up the USB stick too.
Hope that helps.
BTW I though the horn buttons were are either side of the centre hub on the steering wheel, not in the middle

Hi Zephyr, the horn buttons are as you say on the edges of the centre of the wheel, but the whole centre of the wheel is the airbag unit ans the horn switches. Thats what I meant by the centre of the wheel. Anyway, because it isnt working, I'm getting the centre of the wheel, ie the airbag unit replaced under warranty, as this contains all the connections for the horn buttons. Re my ipod, its behaved fine since its strop. Mine comes on charge as soon as I open the drivers door because I hear it beep when it powers up. It stays charged as long as I do longish trips, its just when doing a lot of short runs it doesnt get a chance to replace what its used from the battery because it sits all night semi powered up in standby mode.
