How does practicality feature on the TTS? I note the boot capacity is the same as a scirocco but it looks shallower. Can you still put Ikeas etc in the TTS?

Eyeing up the new TTRS:d
Yeah the boot is long but very shallow. It's barely a foot or so deep at the bumper. It goes back a long way though. Front seats are very comfy and supporting. Back seats are a bit pointless. With the drivers seat where I want it there's about 10cm of leg room behind me! Also for some odd reason the seat squab doesn't slide, only the back tilts which will make it doubly hard to get in the back if I ever needed it.

I read the other day that all the UK's allocated cars had been sold.
There seems to have been some misinformation about that.
The first 200 cars in to the UK were all allocated to the dealers (one coupe and one conv each to their own spec) and must be sold by Jan 1st because they have an old style of aircon gas in them which will be illegal from January. The first production run to make the press and launch cars has that in it. After January the order books will open properly and people will be able to spec their own. So I hear on the forums anyway
Only just catching up with the site after a while! Sad to see your 'roc go Kev, but the new Audi looks good. My Roc is fast approaching 7 years now (owned it for over 4), and at 57000 miles. I absolutely love the car, and not thinking of getting a new one... Doesn't mean I am not tempted though, Trade in value of my roc isnt too bad
