I'm super interested in this conversion!
Does anyone have experience with Alibaba (chinese) bodykits? is it worth it?

I have fitted the R version bumper from eBay from seller: nfdesignzz and the quality and fit isn't very good at all. I would bet you it would be the same for these as I'm pretty sure they from China. You can see the mould lines, there's lots of jaggered edges where the bumper meets the wings, the drls come with different plugs and no instructions. (Required hard wiring) the plastic inserts for the wiper wash are horrendously bad, and the black bottom grills are a pain to clip in. If you've got the money get yourself the real thing.

Thank you a lot! I thought it could be a good idea to buy cheap body kit so I don't have to care if I scratch it... But if you say so, I'm giving up on this

Finally started working on the car, I've received all parts.
the china body kit looks good and came with all required parts.

Love the colour man! Looking forward to seeing this complete

Can't wait to see the final outcome
Would you recommend that bodykit? How does it feel in term of quality? Particularly the front bumper and those LED drls?

You could paint/plastidip the rear Vw sign in black, so it could match the overall look.

Yes it is, just change the brackets to the newer one

I would like to order the facelift bodykit you have, but I would like to know what the fitment/alignment and quality was like ?

was it a straight forward fit without modding ?

please let me know as would to undergo this project asap?
