for fast road use on an R, the XDS is more than capable. I've done things in my R that are almost certainly frowned upon, while convoying down country roads with friends, and you can genuinely lean quite hard on the XDS for better cornering speed.
The trick is just learning to get the most out of it, you need to set up bends so that you're carrying throttle through them. Go into a bend with no power and it'll understeer perfectly happily. (you can of course lift off mid corner, or trail brake for a little back end action).

Yes you should, I have enabled it on lots of Sciroccos now.Paradox1 wrote:Cheers,xjay1337 wrote:Nope you enable the checkbox in the coding on the abs module then its in adaptions drop down menu.
Not all of them can do it i think the 1.4tsi 122 dont but give it a try.
Like you said, it wont be anything like a real diff but I'm willing to give it a try regardless. I got a 2.0 GT so hopefully I'll have to option for it
Try it and decide if it's for you or not. For me it's not.

Re: Experiences with a limited slip differential?
Anyone doing this and succeeded?
Tempted to put one on my R.
Would it mess up any of the systems? or XDS or fault code appearing?
Don’t think i can convert mine to AWD at where i stay so perhaps a LSD is the only thing i could do.
