Haha sorry but although I have a soft spot for a black scirocco. This midnight blue is seriously growing on me.

The savannahs suit the R so well too, looking forward to the progress on this! Don't raise it! Wind them down more.. I reckon you could go another 15mm

Hahaha might aswell go all out and go straight to air eh tom
kentech wrote:Looking superb with the Savannahs just as expected. Possible future spec of car for me, possibly maybe hopefully someday.
Cheers mate!! The spec is what really sold it to me

They're forge brakes mate - look so nice behind the savannahs but need to recover some costs haha

So I've had her a week now and in that time i've done a fair bit, R8 coils, update bluetooth module, bonnet strutts, put my Savannahs on and finally raised the coils.
I'm pretty much on maximum ride height which im sure most of you low car lovers will consider criminal, but i quite like it
Even the quad exhaust is growing on me, but sadly that (and the brakes) will be off the car soon.
Today I spent all day giving her a good detail and as soon as i was finished the heavens opened, leaving some tasty beading
I used standard snow foam hose down with detail brushes, two bucket wash withh meguiars gold, a good claybar, DA polish with meguiars compound, Poor boys black hole and finished with dodo juice purple haze. Ignore the plates, they wouldn't restick after rain, even if it does look pretty cool.
Afterfoam and wash:
End Product:

Gave the engine bay a good clean up. Can't get over the size of the intake!!
The R8 coils and bonnet struts finish this off nicely.
The Brakes are now off, deposit taken and should be gone by the weekend....

would love to have kept them but need to make back some of my costs.
Quads should be off this week too including the diffuser. Again this will be sadly missed as they look and sound incredible. I know they're not to everyones taste (initially me included) but they really do finish the back off perfectly.
I will be running my old Milltek downpipe with the stock catback for now

She is lovely, and the colour just finishes it off perfectly for me! Although I really did love my pewter, about a year back I found a black GT with all the added options which mine was missing. Mine was in the garage at the time after my dad had backed into it (Grrr) and the moment it was dropped off to me again, I knew I couldn't sell her as the colour was too nice.
Making me miss the GT a bit!!

Hi Phil,
Could you please let me know when you are ready to sell the exhaust. I would be interested. (I tried find details in your previous posting but couldn't find anything)
thanks

This evening i've been fitting my covered cup holder (again). Forgot what a total ball ache it is
Great news to all you ebay lovers who can only find a scirocco one at £75 pounds.... MK5 ones work and they're £25
