Really interested in this also as I am averaging 17-20 mpg around town so I'll have to look into inlet manifold!

I have it booked in with VW on the 19th and its under warranty so fingers crossed

How did it go with your inlet manifold?

I have been looking into intake manifolds and the best 2 on the market seem to be the HPA one you show and the Integrated Engineering one. They have larger air capacity, different length pipework to the head and better airflow. The only thing that is a pain is the fact none of the usual mapping suppliers can provide settings to match. It may be a higher level map would work with one fine and still fuel correctly but it's a lot of money to spend and find out it needs custom mapping when you already have a good map installed.

I would be interested in other peoples views as well.
