Also , couldn't find any 3m tape so went for the next best thing , I was worried about the cushioning on other products , that it may stick out the badge and not be flush, but this looks fine just thin enough

Yeah that looks really good mate, think I'll get that added to the to do list now, looks nice that contrast! Didn't realise about the scotch bright though, might be safer and easier.

I've got photos of the chrome scotched up, primed & painted on my instagram. Tried putting it on here but it won't have it.

Also after spraying the badge black I'm considering changing it , I like it but found this and think I prefer the lettering, haven't made my mind up yet though

Yes pal considered it before I sprayed mine. Its just the Audi font but I really like it.
You can buy it already done black on eBay but there like £25 and I was being tight and impatient .
Like what iv got now but think this is fresher and different

Right, minds made up iv taken the 2.0 TSI off and am going for the Audi 2.0 T, issue I found is that even though it looks ok the SI in red also has a chrome edge to it which makes it look out off place I feel,

Cheers roc , There matte anthracite ( Audi Carbon I belive ) over the last few days as they have dried and settled they have gone seriously matte, the day they were done you could tell they were matte but he did say it would get better, need to give them a clean next week and I'll try and get some better pics of them ,
I'm really happy with them I didn't want black nor anything gloss or metallic , was skeptical to get matte but so please. Did , just need the calipers re painting and its booked in to be lowered and it'll be pukka , I had a mobile company come out to the house called Alloy Ambulance cracking job and reasonable on price
