Black cars definitely growing on me - just take some work to keep the paintwork looking that mint!

had the annoying rattle of something running down the sides of the boot when i moved it past horizontal, didn't like it. trim removal tools, top piece off first then the sides. turned out to be the middle clips in the side trim. they'd worked free of the trim and were sliding up and down their long thin holes shown in pic 3 (below). easy fix - bit of tiger seal to keep the clips in place and anti-rattle tape over the holes if they work loose again. sorted, boot feels solid again.

first decent day of weather in ages so gave him a good old wash and brush up - snowfoam, two buckets, wax, trim and tyre dressing and a quick exhaust polish. here's the proof!

That paint is absolutely gleaming, did you hand apply or machine the polish/wax?

cheers! i hand applied the wax - dodo juice rainforest rub soft wax. left it on for a good 20-odd min and buffed off with a brand new, super-fluffy microfibre.

At 1st sight i genuinely thought your car was absolutely coverd in swirl marks and paint marring. Quickly realised it was the wax just been applied. :hyper:

lol, the wax is nicely hiding the swirls in the pic - look close, they're there all right! (grrr)
