Noooooooooooo... I find the Mk6 clocks to be difficult to read and have to use the screen inside. I'd be happy not get any of these changes tbh. :(

I dont know why VW didn't put these in at the start instead of using 5 year old golf parts

I would have loved the chance to get the 19's for £615!! Also the steering wheel, but still like the current one. Aircon dials looks gash!

I wonder why they are changing the spec so soon? Maybe want to get a few more orders?

Looks like I might be one of the first who will get this stuff.
My build week is 22 and after talking to dealer today he said I'm most likely to get 2010 model.
Initially I was kinda pi**ed off and wanted to go on war path - still might do if this gets confirmed, as this is not what I ordered at the end of a day. Now after calming myself down I don't really give a damn. Just want to drive my car !

Found some official photos of new interior @ VW Germany and it doesnt seem like AC unit will be changed (seems to have white light though!)

Thank god its not that horrible aircon unit posted on here before!

The white lights are much better - should been like that to begin with not the miss match it is.

They should do a recall..............

Think I'm gonna get 19's eventually but not the Luganos.
IMHO you can see through them too much. I'd prefer something a bit more filled in.
I like that style on the 18" Interlagos though.

This is great news. Especially about the xenons. I'd started to consider a used TTS but this could steer me back towards the rocco given the difference in price.

Hi all

Just called my French dealer

Said he knew nothing about it until I contacted him a few weeks back by e-mail

He just confirmed that he has now had an internal note informing him of the model change from Week 22

Told me my build week had been advanced from 26 to 23 !

I'm hoping that I get the new stuff !

He says he can't do anything to change the build week :grumpy:

I guess so

The cars are all built in the same factory at Autoeuropa in Portugal so I guess on the same production lines

I've seen people from several countries mention week 22, - France, England, Norway I think too

From the inverted ! symbols I guess you are in Spain or Portugal ?

I'm like you rako - down for build week 22 but after thinking abouth this a bit I'm not bothered either way. I just want the damn car.
Seems to be lot of peeps on week 22. Is that normal or is there something funny going on at VW ?
Week 22 seems to be the date when production of the 2010 model is started and it also seems to be the breakpoint between the 12/13 week lead in and the new 26 week lead in.
Should I read anything in to that ?

worth noting the 170ps TDI is also available in GT Spec and with the option of DSG from £21,755 (2.0TSI GT is £21,340), so the most expensive model in the range currently
