@ ViperBoyTsi200: Wheels are VMR V710 Matte black 19x9,5 ET45 with Michelin PSS 255/30/19 tires (5mm spacers in front), wheels are € 357/each, tires € 302/each
Have felt any difference compared to stock talladegas? Have you faced any issues while balancing or any other issues?
thanks!
Can't really tell because on the stock Talladegas I only did 1000 km's, and they are 18 inch... But yes, little less comfort but together with the coilovers on a good road they are a huge improvement in handling. Got some little vibrations when accelerating hard from 110 km/h to 150 km/h, still need to check this out. Also remember to hold the wheel tight when hitting some heavy track formation on the highway

This is my favorite Scirocco on the forum.
How much lower can you go with the KW V1's? I currently have Bilstein B14's and they do not go low enough in the front so I am considering KW's..

Thanks "Le Clue"!
Don't know how much lower you can go with the KW's, didn't check the coilovers since it came like this from the shop. Need some time to get the wheels off and take a look at it, but it can definitely drop a lot more! Think they are settled now and it looks like it dropped a little bit more since the last time I took pics, also applied the Swissvax Opaque Wax:
PS: ordered the Milltek Cat-back Non-Resonated with Gloss Black Tips, need to wait 6 weeks

Hi Timo,
Very nice Scirocco !
Please be so kind and tell me if there is any more thread left on the front coilovers, as I also want to order KW v1 for my R, but i wanted i little bit more lowering on the front... I'm afraid that the lowering will not be enough, as they say 10-45mm in the technical pdf.
Is there any rubbing using 9.5x19 in front ?! Are there any problems at steering full lock ?!
Thank you for your answers !

So took the wheels off today to take a look at the coilovers, also took the opportunity to clean the brake calipers and the inside of the wheels.
This is the front:
As you can see there is about 15-20mm thread left. In the technical pdf they say you can lower 10-45mm but this is only written because of TUV approval or something like that... Not going any lower as it's already hard not hitting the asphalt when getting on and off the car park at work. Note also that the wheel is very close to the strut, the rubber is occasionally hitting it. Wheels are ET45 with a spacer of 5mm making it ET40, but ET values of different brands can vary... Got no rubbing at full lock, but trying to avoid this. What wheels are you looking at "roadrunner"?
This is the back:
In fact I don't know if you can go lower then this? It's my first car with coilovers so still learning...
3 weeks until the new exhaust goes on, can't wait

Went to the VAG-Fest in Lommel (Belgium) this weekend, not so many Rocco's but a lot of other cool cars.
Some pics:

Thanks for the info Timo !
I already ordered some VMR v710 in Hyper Silver, same 9,5x19" et45 as you...
I believe i will use 8mm spacers in front and 5mm back to clear the shock absorbers, as i saw that there is a little rubbing issue in front.
I will also go for KW coilovers, but i will use lower setting for sure.
Waiting for your feedback on milltek exhaust... It's also on my shopping list for this winter

You will love the concave of the 9,5" wheels, so much better then the 8,5" in my opinion.
8mm in front will be better as I was rubbing yesterday for the first time when going through a corner very fast, wouldn't put spacers at the back though.
I got no spacers in the back and with a negative camber of 2,10 it sits flush with plenty of space between tire and shock absorber.

And finally the Milltek is installed...
Really liking the sound of it, both in low and high revs. What surprised me the most is that there isn't an annoying drone in the cabine when driving on the highway. In fact I can't here a difference when cruising at 120 km/h, but when flooring the gas it sounds really great!
And some additional pictures:

Very nice mate, love the colour! you may get rubbing off the tyre because its a 255 I had 235s on my 9.5 et31 and didn't have a problem. Mine was for looks and not speed though although it still handled well. What's the next mod? Remap?

No rubbing at all, as long as I'm not going any lower... Remap and VWR intake is something for next year. Winter is coming closer so looking at painting the 18" Talladega's in Piano Black and putting winter tyres on them. Not decided yet if I should go with 225 or 235 on the standard rims as they come with 235 from the factory. Any thoughts about this?

Probably just go with a 235 for winter tyres, looking forward to the results of the remap!
