The ACC (adaptive chassis control) is - I think - standard on all GT models which all diesels are.

It's standard on the GT models and is called ACC (Adaptive Chassis Control). As you say it adjusts the firmness of the dampers with 3 settings, comfort, normal and sport. It also adjusts the weight of the steering. Sime say it adjusts the throttle response but I have never noticed it, if it does.

Regarding DSG faults whilst these used to cost mega money at the dealers for replacement parts there are now a few specialists able to rebuild boxes or supply rebuilt units for a fraction of dealership prices of new replacements. Three or four years ago a DSG box that went wrong out of warranty was likely to cost £2 to £4k to fix now most faults can be sorted by independent specialists for under £1k inc labour.

Low mileage diesels may exhibit long term problems with the DPF but as of yet this doesn't seem to cropped up as a common fault, most other car manufacturers suffer from DFP issues on post 3 year old vehicles.

On a 09/59/10 plate vehicle ignore bluetooth if factory fitted as it won't work with your phone. A compatible system (using factory parts from 2010 onwards vehicles) can be retro fitted by specialists for under £300 or you can buy the parts and DIY for under around £200. Satnav can also be retrofitted you can get the units off ebay for £500 to £600 fitting is very straight forward.

Thanks some useful info I'm there, how come Bluetooth won't work? No way round this? I'd prefer to find a example that already has the sat nav build in, if not then I'm got a portable one not a big problem, would be a nice feature though

The early units were restrictive on the phones they worked with. However if you have factory bluetooth an updated unit can be purchased off ebay for under £100 and its a plug n play fit.

Don't restrict your search for cars fitted with factory sat-nav as you will massivley narrow your field and nearly new RNS10 units can be purchased for under £500 now - again installation is straight forward. Concentrate on condition, srvice history and mileage.

Early Bluetooth only supported rSAP protocol, which is only only used with some older Nokia phones. Later Bluetooth uses HFP (Hands Free Protocol) which modern phones support
