Bloody hell. It's madness.
Anyway, when I went, I rented a diesel from Avis (Audi A4, kitted to the max and an awesome drive) - brought all the gear from Halfords and then returned it with the receipt 12 days later as I hadn't used anything bar the stickers over the lights to change them from UK to EUR.

It not enforced using ANPR style camera's yet but if you get stopped there is no method of avoidance, foreign registered or not knowing/understanding the rules are not acceptable excuses. 40 eur on the spot fine.AgaZaKa wrote:I will see if the fine is automatic.
