Not the stocked car but factory ordered (beginning of March)
well we all know dealers can word a deal however they want and all that matters is the cost to change. So here is how my deal stacked up
1.4 tsi + metallic paint + nav + leather +mats rrp = 22330
trade in for my car = 10500 (lower than book but not many people looing for civic type r's in current climate
Cost to change = 10400
so cost of the car i bought in effect is 20900 which is approx 6.50% discount.

Price is contracted on paper, so I'm not much worried that anything will change here.
More to that - until the car arrives, if there are any new promotional offers or discounts in official pricelist, they will apply to my deal. If there is any increase whatsoever - I'm not affected due to signed contract and deposit paid

This is not strictly true, I was on the BMW 1 series forum, and lots of people and dealers were very annoyed, when BMW removed a lot of the options packs, effectively creating a several thousand pound price rise for people who had already ordered and paid deposits. In many cases the dealers would not absorb the rises. This resulted in lots of cancelled orders and lots of very angry customers, but nevertheless it happened.
