21 years old, 4 years NCD, pay £580 for my 2.0 TSI GT, up for renewal in a few months though.

Just done a comparison and I can insure an R for £560.

But anyways last year my Roc was going to be £360 fully comp . But as I wanted to declare the remap so I was coverd for that it went up to around £550.

Might have a look tonight and see what an r would cost now. Even though I still can't afford one haha.

Insurcnace quotes online are a joke, I declared air, remap, wheels, exhaust intake etc, insurance dropped £5 haha! never declare mods online it comes back like 10k plus for me.. 22 scirocco R paying £600... when I was 20 I payed £1200 with 0 no claims

Just got mine insured £175 fully comp /protected

Im 20 and ive had 25 cars in the 5 years ive been driving i get sick of them after 2 months but the siroccos different! My Scirocco R was quoted $4800(2500GBP) to insure for a year through VW. I managed to cut it back to $2500(1300GBP) under my insurance policy of having 4 others insured in my name at the same time! plus being classed as a luxury vehicle we get a tax thrown on top.

I pay just a shade under £300 to insure mine fully comp!

I'm 35 with 9 years no claims

Just had my renewal - £256 for the R with AXA. I am a tad old though with 20+ years NCB!

£990 with all modifications declared.

22 with 5 years' NCB. My partner is also on the policy (22 again with 4 years' NCB).

£220 all in for my brand new r , i am 49 though and i added the extra insurance which i dint normally bother with so not bad at all

45, 8 years NCB £240 was paying £195 for my diesel Roc Bargain!!

24 with 7 years ncb and a roc r and I'm only paying £650 ish

My renewal is due at the end of this month and i paid £336 last year. Got a letter with a renewal quote for this year at £1,449!!!!!! [FACE WITH TEARS OF JOY]

It's fair to say that went straight in the bin and a quick search on compare the market came up with a new quote of £291 fully comp including breakdown cover.

For anyone wondering, it was Endsleigh who tried to insult me. Idiots!!!!!!
