I done them before I went to rome.
but when I had lacquered them and left them to dry they had fell over and got all crap on it. Took them to a bodyshop who done them. Although the glovebox isn't perfect as I'd like but the centre console is like brand new part. I didn't spray that myself. He said it was so much easier to spray that than it was to do the other pieces.

I'm really happy with it. Love the black trim.
black mirrors and black trim. What's next respray the car black! Lol

I also emailed vw to check the prices on the pieces in gloss black. That way I can keep the silver and revert to stock and then re sell the black ones.

Here is the prices my local vw wanted
V1K2 858 529 3H 5 TRIM - £18.68 Inc
Gloss Black – 93.64 Inc

V1K2 858 419 3H 5 TRIM - £12.02 Inc
Gloss Black - £46.30 Inc

V1K2 858 420 3H 5 trim - £12.02 Inc
Gloss Black - £45.30 Inc

And that's without the centre console!

I gave her a wash after AGESSSSS if being dirty. It's not to the standards of this forum, but for me, it's nice and clean ;). I even gave the exhaust a bit of a polish, and then tidied up the rear dash cam

busy day today.

mazzie, quickshift and me drove over and met peter_g at jake from f1 dents' place and had a small ding pulled out of victor. (never parking in tescos again!) we had quick jet wash round mine, exhaust and wheel clean then fuelled up and drove to frinton, where james met us in saskia. i had scampi and chips. quite pleasant really.

Had some spare PayPal funds after clearing out a bit of detailing gear. So I bought these.
fitting was a nightmare on the passenger side as whatever chimp at vw wired my car left no slack what so ever on the wiring loom.

These are the same units as robs group buy a while a go and what philjay92 has. Bought from ebay. Arrived in 3 weeks.
