This comes with a remote wire mic like any aftermarket system so you can route the microphone to where you like

Just looking at that oil cooler, I have mine booked in with AKS Tuning on 24th - 25th Aprilxjay1337 wrote:No major updates.
Friend and I took the whole front end of, as the car was over heating and while I think it's the HG and cyl head studs failing I also had symptoms of a blocked radiator.
So we fitted a new Hella unit.
Also there's a coolant circuit that I have looped due to my oil cooler. The hose is not ideal and was only a temporary solution, so I have measured the outlets and gotten an appropriately sized ASH hose.

Also ordered some additional silicones up for the upcoming work.
We are beginning strip down on Friday 3rd of March so new cyl head, upgraded valve springs, hybrid vklr turbo and some other cool bits are going on.
Hopefully smash the 300bhp barrier.
It has been very frustrating sourcing parts from europe and getting details for example finding the right upgraded valve spring but thanks to Bobby were have everything we need now.

Couldn't live without AC loldeano_123 wrote:Considered removing the AC setup and moving the battery whilst its all stripped down?
Thanks mate,Paradox1 wrote:Alot of hard work, time and development gone into this.
Good luck with the rebuild

Oh right nice, is that with 8" alloys all round too?xjay1337 wrote:From an earlier post
PS4's were brilliant on the front, stuck well but did feel a bit roly poly.
AD08R were good on the back, back end was dead planted. I think with 245/40 AD08R on the front it will really help.
Currently we are 235/40 F and 245/40 R.

We'll find out eventuallywould be quite nice to do, even just to tidy up the bay.
Im sure we can sort the earths without too much hassle.
I've decided to hold off on proceeding with the engine rebuild until my new car arrives which should be within the next 10 days then I don't need to worry about getting to work etc.
Someone from darkside has been in touch to tell me they had a similar case with another CR170 with a GTB2260 overheating on track and it turned out to be the block warped!
We'll check when we rip it apart and if we need to then I'll get another bottom end. But I'm hoping it's just the head gasket as with the miles and abuse that would be the most likely/hopeful option lol.
