Again, not posted in a while! So here’s an update;

Swapped my wheels again!
Work Meister s1 3 piece

No idea on ET, but we’re running 9.5j fronts and 10.5j rears

Image

Needed a refurb, so I stripped them down and managed to get some decent results.
Had some mixed opinions to begin with, but once we got them finished we were onto a winner

Also, skinned a few interior pieces. Came out better than my original attempt at Kevlar skinning

Then prep’d the car ready for this years show season (first of many times)

Image

Image

Image

First show I made this year was Modified Live, Cadwell Park.
No win unfortunately, but a great day non the less!

Also decided I wanted to change my seats, so bought a set of Bride Cuga’s with carbon frames. Unsure if I’m liking them in the car, however, next stage is to throw a half cage in the car, remove rear seats, and refigure my air install... so they may very well be going in, along with 2 sets of Bride Drift ii or iii 4 point harnesses.

Full alcantara floor, with floating air tanks and compressors on show is the plan. Then reupholster brides in matching Alcantara with black bride logo centres, and alcantara door arm rests, and I’m all out of ideas again. Next few months should see some good progress

New discs and pads have been ordered as I’ve managed to kill the Mtechs I originally put on. I was warned about them being terrible, but I had to see it for myself!

New strut top bearings also needed, so on the way.

Also after replacing my slam series for Performance or OCD bags struts, along with some uprated ARBs, and maybe some bracing.

Discs and pads in.

Strut top bearings in.

X Brace Roll cage with harness bar test fitted.

Back seats out.

Milano Suede ordered.

Install frame built.

New tank mount designed and sent to be laser cut.

One of two harnesses bought.

Mid to late next week cage should be with me coated in gunmetal grey, so get that installed, cut the top sheet to the install, mount the tanks, then order second harness and install seats!

Next plans will be to get arm rests in door cards, arm rest, and seats upholstered in black and charcoal grey Milano Suede with some form of funky stitch

Also tinted my headlight, looks mean I think...

Very cool work! I'm very curious to see Bride Cuga installed!
And the rear roll cage, have you soldered to the car frame or ts' removable?
