Just looked at mine and it says it can't find my order. System must be having problems, it's done that to me a few times.

build week confirmed as the 30th November

Mine must have got on a boat almost as soon as it was built. Spoke to VW today and it has arrived this morning in Sheerness. I'm just a bit excited :)

It was built at the start of last week (45) and must have got on a boat almost as soon as it was finished.

The last boat was on the 4th. This current one is just round the corner and will be docking in the next couple hours. The next boat after that will be ages.

If you google Volkswagen shipping schedule one of the results on page 1 will be PWL, it's the UK/Ireland/Europe schedule lists all the ships and dates they'll be at each port. Then you can track them on marinetraffic.

Proper sad I know.

Very odd...can't work out from PWL how my car can possibly have left last week and already got to Sheerness (looks like the route goes via Emden?) but VW person quite clear it had arrived! Oh well, will know soon enough...

City of Sunderland

Now confimed in Sheerness by my dealer. Looks like VW may use more than one shipping company - the car came direct from Portugal (via Santander?) on the City of Sunderland, without a stop at Emden en route. So another vessel to keep an eye on! Jon

Rang up this morning, they confirmed the car has been sat waiting for a ship all week. Taking into account Jon's ship was run by another company, there's obviously other ships to keep an eye out for. God knows how we find them...

Had a little search in here and came across a few posts from the past where members link to a page on this site where they claim you can find everything you need to find which ships your car might get on but the link is dead, says I do not have permission to view it. Anyone know what's happened there?

Quiet morning at work, being a boring fart looking at ships around Portugal. There's a City of Barcelona run by the same people who own the Sunderland one just west of Lisbon due to dock in at Setubal at 4pm this afternoon. Left Tyne at 3:30pm on Saturday.

That has to be ours.

Being moved to Emden?

Mine just sat whilst the most recent ship to Emden came and left. It seems they have two running to the Portugal port straight to the UK (one a week).

I guess I'll find out over the weekend if mines on this City of Barcelona, I can't see why it wouldn't be. Imagine yours would be too.

Mine definitely didn't go to Emden - the dealer told me they used to to QC checks there which now happen in the UK (although I'd need to be convinced). Jon
