Just a note guys... ill reconfirm when i receive my car....in haggling with VW about my options etc i asked for the flat tyre indicator and i was going to have to pay for it...and that was early july 2010? Anyone with a post building week 20 (or 22) confirm its now standard?

We picked ours up 2 weeks ago (guess it was built about wk25 or thereabouts) and it didn't have the flat tyre indicator and has the (I beleive) old style 'normal' spare tyre or something along those lines.......

please see RW1's post here & refer your dealer to that price list [note the date] (unfortunately the one on the vw website is not up to date currently)

You could look at the boot build sticker to determine the exact day and build week number. Its located by the spare wheel well on the boot floor pan on the fuel filling side.

The portugese MY 2011 spec includes the daytona wheels, does anyone know if these will replace the intelagos alloys on the GT? I've ordered through a lease but didn't specify intelagos wheels as these were standard on the GT when i ordered - much prefer the intelagos over the daytona - or is it just Portugal where these will be standard on the GT??

I believe the wheels are the same in the UK market still.

Anyone heard anything about the usual WK45 updates?

Late 2011 Spec Changes

I've just ordered a Scirocco and am disappointed with the quality of the brochure produced by VW as a number of the spec changes early this year aren't included (ditto the accessories brochure). I read there are potentially some changes later this year, around November? As I don't have a build date yet I expect my car should pick these up.

Has anyone got any ideas if this is correct? if so have they any ideas whats likely to be included?

Nothing worse than not being sure whats going to turn up at the dealers in the new year!

I hope to offer bi-xenon headlights with LED daytime running lights, like Scirocco R. Golf and even Polo(!) has LED when ordered with bi-xenon headlights.
What are they thinking!?

The photos of the new Passat and the facelifted Eos I saw today show a new higher res colour MFD. I reckon it'll be that.

I see that picture has the keyless entry (which isn't currently available in the UK) - it does look so bad that someone has stuck that on with a bit of UHU

+1

It actually does look like it is retrofitted somehow, as if someone did it in his local garage. However it is a very convenient feature that i would like to add, when i order my car... :)
