i like the black VW badges - might pinch that idea for my own motor

Thank you, just getting in to photography so it's nice to have the compliments. Black badges look much better than the chrome and a cheap mod to do! Remove the scirocco and engine size badges to give it a cleaner look.

Both looking spot on mate! Very jealous of your wheels and the splitter from the other

Wish I hadn't of sold them now
never mind, hopefully a new set for this year. Hoping to squeeze some 20s on it! The splitter makes the car look loads better but I couldn't drive anywhere with that on as it already scrapes on speedbumps!

Well the scirocco is being traded in on Wednesday for a bmw m135i, just getting the car back to standard in the next few days and laughing at the hideous arch gaps! Parts will be up for sale shortly when I get a chance to take some photos and work out prices and postage costs. With the facelift model approaching I decided to jump ship before trade in prices tumble. Got a decent deal and a nice spec m135i, auto gearbox, nav, heated seats and a few other things in the best colour estoril blue. Not sure what I'm planning to do with it but would be nice to see the 400bhp mark

Hello mate,
just referring to the quote above.
how low are you exactly to be able to go up and down curbs?
i tend to have to mount down a curb when the a** across the road blocks my reverse path off the ramp of the curb
and i am interested in being partially low.
Don't own a rocco as of yet, in the market for the perfect one but i am trying to gather as much information before hand.
You can never do too much research
Thanks

Depends on kurb height mate but on a standard kurb I was still fine, lowered about 90mm. Just don't get stretched tyres put on as even on full lock to the kurb there is a chance of kurbing your wheel.

90mm sounds good enough for me, only planned on kW v1 and they only go to 50mm. I have read some people have gone lower on them though? Don't know how that would work but could be a bonus, i only really have to drop off a curb, never mounted one before though as I thought you'd be more prone to curb an alloy doing so.
Thanks for the reply mate!

Yeah I had v1s and they were 90mm. Apparently kw quote 50mm to stay within laws for Germany or something but my mate had H&R ultralows on his with the adjusters out and his only sat 10mm lower that mine. Start with them set high and lower until you scrape then lift it up 5mm.

Looks stunning, I'm also based in the north east. Where did you pick up the front grill?
