Stage 7 text received this morning. :hyper: Car at dealers.

9 and a half weeks from order placed until arrived at dealer.

Ordered 4/8/15
Built and left factory 18/9/15
Left Setubal on City of Paris ship 26/9/15
Arrived at Tyne port 2/10/15
Arrived at dealer 9/10/15

I'm having it delivered on Wednesday 13/10 as the dealership is just over 100 miles away and I need to get time off work.

I have sold My Polo. I put it up on Gumtree and 2 hours later I had an email. Few days later they came for test drive and bought it. It's in excellent condition. I've looked after this car like a child.

Wednesday can't come soon enough!!! :hyper:

What an upgrade over the polo.
Turns plenty of heads and I should really drive her more!
250 miles in a month isn't good! :eyepop:

That's not going to be far off the mileage I'll be doing... I live in a city, my travelling is done within it as I don't normally have to travel outwith the city.

Will hit Halfords for a few things this weekend for the new car. I have loads of detailing stuff already but can never have enough ;)

Good man!! Yeah I probably do at most 4500 miles per year ;)

Love detailing my car. Have far to much stuff but find it so relaxing! Well part from machine polishing. Hurts my back lol.

Never tried the machine polishing before! I'll wash and wax the car and a few other bits and bobs and post some pics. Glad you're enjoying your roc, it certainly looks the part

Getting a confirmed build week normally takes a couple of weeks. If you call customer services they will be able to give you an unconfirmed date.

Took two weks for me. My build now confirmed as week commencing 2 November and I assume they probably do runs of Scirocco's every few weeks rather than on a continual basis?

Looking at 4-6 weeks max! Think mine was 3 or 4 weeks until I picked her up

Why put it off until 2016?

With regards to your question about how long until you get the car, as Wazza said you're talking around 4 weeks or so.

I have copied and pasted my experience

Ordered 4/8/15
Built and left factory 18/9/15
Left Setubal on City of Paris ship 26/9/15
Arrived at Tyne port 2/10/15
Arrived at dealer 9/10/15
