Picked it up 3wks after buying it!!! Mental note.... Don't buy a car with a private plate on it, I can't believe how long it takes to remove it.
It was worth the wait tho, why didn't I buy one of these sooner

Re: What did you do to your Scirocco today?
This week i finally got the Wheel Alignment sorted after fitting the MSS Streets Spring kit
The kit has now settled well and has lowered the ride height by around 37mm , You may be surprised just how much that kid of a drop in ride height can screw up your geometry !
I spent a good 2 hours + on the spanners , getting it cock on to the values that i wanted

After two weeks away training I got home and drove him !
Then cleaned him - two weeks is a LONG time
Then admired him ! Today Mrs H & I are over to friends who don't know I changed my car - so I'm expecting admiration and jealousy in equal parts

You attention to detail is always so admirable . How's the handling of the car after lowering it? Can you feel a good difference?

lol ,Thanks dude - some folk say that - most say that im just a fussy b*st*rddimexi wrote:You attention to detail is always so admirable . How's the handling of the car after lowering it? Can you feel a good difference?
Unfortunately , i haven't had chance to properly assess it as yet . The rocco is parked up in the compound at work whilst i'm putting miles on an engineering car for work - it's not even a nice one , but an old (and well used) 9MY XF diesel
Don't worry , i intend to give my full (and frank) feedback on the whole experience with the kit as soon as i get the chance - early signs are positive though

Looks great man excited to see what it looks like when you're done fitting the entire kit. Just a quick Q, what bulbs are you using in your Fogs?Dubvrs wrote:Finished off my rear bumper and gave it a good clean. Happy with the rear skirt just need to get the side skirts on now.
Pic of the front after I used some Autoglym black dye on the honeycomb grille. Looks much better darker.
