Hi. My name is Paul and I'm new to the world of VW ( Kind of, my parents have always had Golfs and Polos ). In June I ordered a Scirocco R Line in Ultra Violet metallic. My build date is week 31 which is next week. Excited doesn't even begin to describe it. My local dealer is a bit rubbish at giving me updates, therefore I have to keep going in and asking. Will probably just hold off now and wait for the new Plates in September. Nice to meet you all.

Hi, the tracker sounds good but it doesn't always get updated, I picked my new car up last week and mine missed out the three of the seven steps on the tracker and was still in transit days after I had collected from the dealer. If you want a more accurate update contact VW customer services with your order number.
Saying that If your build is next week count on it being four weeks later for it to arrive at your dealer.

Mine (ordered end of May) is apparently at dealership now. Shame I'm on holiday for a week now.

I ordered on August 2nd and have a confirmed build week of week 38 (14 September) I'm guessing delivery will take 3-4 weeks from then?

Well today I got a txt out of the blue saying my car has been built and is in transit!!! Txt was 5a! How long now do you think until I can pick her up roughly? It wasn't even supposed to be built until 31st so I'm extremely happy.

My Roc is to be built next week. Didn't really select any extras apart from the Interlagos alloys. I ordered a 1.4 TSI in Flash Red. This will be my first Scirocco.

Hi Wazza, I have a flash red Polo and love the colour! It's definitely brighter and more vibrant than the old Salsa Red colour. I haven't seen a Flash Red Scirocco on the roads yet. I wonder why the colour isn't offered in R-Line or R models?

I actually really like it mate. No idea why it's not offered. Makes sense to offer it on all models surely??
When's your build week dude???

Build week is this coming Monday (14th). I'm estimating delivery (right to my door) will be around 4 weeks going by people's experiences on here.
I can't help googling flash red roc images as I'm that excited about getting my hands on it! Definitely a good colour I agree, and a big plus for me was that there is very few Flash Red Scirocco's out on the road as it has only been offered since the facelift and it's not offered in R-Line and R models. Even going on some of the popular car selling websites and looking for flash red rocs around the UK always returns very small numbers.
