Ideally I want the one with the later interior (2011 onwards), Steel grey or Metallic Blue 170TDI not too fussed on whether its leather or cloth interior providing its tidy. Also it needs to be under 35k miles and sold by a dealer. Only problem is the vast majority for sale seem to be white and there seems to be a lot more 140's about than 170's.

Theres a few about that I've looked at but they're all quite far away from me. I'm happy to just keep saving for a while and wait for the right one to pop up. I've also got to try to either arrange for my current golf to be sold privately or strip the mods off it ready for trade in.

I gave the inside a hoover and wipedown as it was getting a bit dusty. Cleaned the glass.
Then fitted the red leds I bought the other week to the footwells. All in the blazing sun

What's the later interior all about?

Didn't take any photos of the process, however I'm slowly working on my other 2 wheels which have a bit of curbing on them, and will hopefully take some photos once the weather settles.

Installed these LED's in my reading domes..... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/321375181750" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

First impressions are that they are a little too long, with the bottom SMD near the bottom of the dome. Just waiting for night fall to see what they really look like and will post pictures for peoples opinions.

Picked up my rear bumper with Votex diffuser smoothed in and booked it in to have both sides painted with bonnet and votex side skirts.

It wasn't really difficult once you get started and know the basic process. I'm by no means a pro at this stuff or anything, far from it! I just did a load of researching of online forums, guides and YouTube vids. Credit all goes to those who I've learnt from.

I'll hopefully do a write up of the process some time.

Well the rain stopped so broke out the tools.

Quick bumper change.

Will finish all the mounting adapters for the votex skirt tomorrow but at least it's on.

Looks good. But Personally I'm not a fan of the single exhaust exit.

i sang in it very loudly with the windows and sport mode button down - to songs the windows should really be shut for.
