My R ordered 15th april, will be in production 36 weeks, in September I am very sad, the last BW was 30th....what happens?

Got mine this weekend after waiting since November! Well happy with it, was thinking of only keeping it a year but I think that might be hard to do lol people In the know about meets let me know, I'm back in the uk in august, need some ideas on what to sup up : P

This is pathetic. Ordered mine on the 14th April and was told BW 27 and now it's unconfirmed BW 37 - mines with a manual gearbox!

thats not a good sign... Thats what i was told when i ordered in March. They have not given me a confirmed build week yet either, I might ring them tomorrow and find out whats going on. I was told there should be no reason why I should not get a Sept 1st delivery.

Brifely spoke with with VW CS today, they said they had some manufacturing issues in the country of origin which is delaying both R models. Apprently a confirmed dealer order today would be waiting 16 weeks... Which gave me no info on my confirmed order from march lol

Not looking good guys.
Ordered my car at the end of March and was told delivery would be in June (I knew this was optimistic at the time).
Last month was advised by VWCS that the car would be here in August.
Contacted VWCS yesterday and they said they no longer have any scheduled build date for the car, although this can change at anytime.
I guess, there must be serious manufacturing issues, or problems with a supplier.
They must be losing sales because of this. Will reasses the situation in a month's time and if there is no progress, am likely to pull out. Mercedes have a finance offer on the C63AMG, and whilst it is more expensive, the deal is v attractive.

The good news is the VAT increase is with effect from January.. so at least those waiting on R's have a little time before it hits you for another 2.5%!

I have not heard anything yet, confirmed/estimated or oherwsie. I have still got my heart set on a 1st Sept.... we shall wait and see.

Good news also for me Today, my BW isn't yet 37, but it's the 28 I'm very very happy 
This means that I could have the R in the first half of August....or at least, at the end of August
