Hello guys,

Im from Cyprus and i'm expecting a 1.4tsi 160bhp with lots of stuff on it. It was originally due to be built on week 36,
after a push from my salesman man, think cause we are taking a Passat CC also, they moved me back to 26. Suppose
i will get the new interior right? Just want to make sure, cause i don't mind moving the order a bit later to get the new one.

Hey guys check this out!
Its in french but it seems to me that the sportpackage has got 3 times its price considering in all eu except uk its about 700euros,
quite little for its features(alcantara, black roofliner, metal pad, 65% rear windows, mats..etc). Now its gone 1700euros and they call it sportline.

I don't think there is a sport pack available in UK at all. No alcantra seats either.
In Poland the price hasn't change more than a few % since January.
Right now it's 2 480 PLN which is +/- 550euros
I paid more or less the same in Feb/March

The pack includes:
- black ventilation rims on dash (or however you call this stuff properly;)
- carpet mats
- "Donington" 8J x 17, 235/45 R17
- aluminium pedals
- black roof lining
- tinted rear windows (35%)
- fog lights
- "Catch up" seats with Alcantara

Imo that's a good deal.

I have heard that before somewhere but there is no official mention for it from any one of the more competent sources. Just looked at the picture of the MY2010 from the Spanish forum and the ACC, Tyre and ESP buttons are most definitely not where they were on MY2009.

Does anybody know anything about it?

Also, where is the airbag deactivation switch????

How do you know the Spaniard speced ACC and tyre?

I think the ESP one is obscured by the handles.

True, the Spanish car might not have these options but still one could be able to see the fake buttons. The quality is bad though, so it would be hard to spot. Well, I guess I am trying to justify some of the comments about them being moved elsewhere cause I am sure I have heard it before somewhere.

10My Steering wheel and instrument cluster but wheres the new climate controls? Looks like some people could be getting hybrid 09My / 10 My vehicles to start with?

I really should ask my colleagues in Portugal who make the damn Cockpit!

There are no new climate dials. Those are reserved for the R model.

I guess the 'R' version has to be different somehow...but as far as the esp, acc etc button the should definitely be on the same place. If you see the picture of the spanish scirocco the esp in in place...far left button...it just doesnt seem really good!! btw in the singapore page they say something about white turning lights...hope they put the led DRL with led or whatever they put for turning lights. They also say about chrome tail pipes on the scirocco 1.4tsi....either way the pipes are going to be sold as a part so i guess each country or dealer can put what they want as standard package.

Look at the exterior equipment!!
THis is a 5 seater :eyepop:
"Backrest split foldable 1/3 to 2/3 including load through provision and centre armrest
Ambience lighting
Loading facility in rear bench seat including rear centre armrest"

Am I misreading something here ?

Yeap...your right...i guess they mixed some of the Golf VI or Passat CC interior. I just hope that thing about the white lights has something to do with LED!!

My 1.4 tsi dsg beryllium grey is hopefully arriwing on Saturday, again hopefully to be picked up on Tuesday, cant wait anymore :)

Its got the Sport pack, and just learned out today that its got the RCD 510 instead of the RCD 310 which is how it usually comes to Turkey..

and the dealer told me today that its got the 2010 chasis ( I am not sure what she meant, she wasn't either), but it has to be 2009 on the documents since they

can only write 2010 after August.. I am really hoping for the new interiors..They really dont know how its going to come since its the first car that says chasis 2010 ???!! :?

That VW Asia site shows they get a hell of a lot of equipment as standard. They get the already generous UK spec (compared to most of europe), but also get electric adjusting and heated leather seats, warning triangle, parking sensors, hill hold, and a 3 seat rear bench with rear centre armrest.

Not bothered about the 3 seats, i'm sure it makes the back seats look far less sporty and less room for the passengers.

Wonder how much they pay for their Sciroccos?

I'm from asia and I can tell you that it cost an arm and leg for cars here... :faint:

And no, we do not have a 5 seater, don't think rocco comes in 5 seater.
