How did this happen?

Post by MickeyJ »

Just washed my car and discovered a small dimple in the body work at the back lower panel on the passenger side of my car. I am just wandering how it has happened. There are no scratches or evidence of a knock (see the photo attached below), Bearing in mind It’s only been in my works private car park (with big spaces) and in my garage.

This is the first time I have washed my car since it was in the body shop last week, due to someone going into the back of me.

Could it be this was caused by clamping or lifting equipment during it’s time in the garage. I obviously checked the car when they gave me the keys back but could have easily missed it.

Got any advice guys?

On closer inspection I have found three more of these dimples?!?!??!
Just wander how I didn’t notice these before! Thanks for getting back to me so quickly I feel like a right idiot now. I hope I have given everyone a good laugh anyway. My girlfriend thinks it’s hilarious.

One of the chaps at work tried to get me with that when mine was brand new! Horrible sinking feeling, but just for a moment.
