Scirocco GT roof interior lining Q

Hey all,

time for me to look to swap my current Roc for a new one (company cars are sometimes wonderful things).
Ive got a GT 170 diesel DSG demonstrator for a couple of days, in Candy White, anthracite vienna leather seats, and it has a black roof lining interior. And it looks the Dogs!

However, in the VW brochure, it says you only get that roof lining on the petrol version, not the diesel. So Im confused. I want to get one in Candy White, with the diesel 170, and I want to make sure I get the black interior, but dont really want the leather seats.
Anyone know if the black roof lining is because of the paint job, of the leather, or some other reason??

I have a diesel GT and the roof lining is most defiantly black...

I too have a GT Diesel and it has black roof lining. As I understand it, you get black with the leather.

i have 122 petrol with black roof lining with no leather!!

Just swap with someone who wants White when you get it
Not too hard to change over.

My Candy GT 170 has no leather and a light grey roof lining (but there isnt much of it because of the pano roof).

Nice idea RW1, but as it'll be a company car, Im not allowed to tweak, alter or mod it in a way that is permanent :-( Factory fit only.

On the upside, I am allowed fluffy dice. hmmmmm
