new engine to be fitted scirocco 1.4 tsi 160

has any sirocco owners have had to get a new engine fitted,my roc has only 17000 miles on a 59 plate 1.4 tsi 160.when in to dealer with only a sensor in exhaust light coming on,when tested 7 faults appeared,water pump,backfiring,alarm fault,injectors to be repaced.this was the 2nd water pump repaced allready.all replaced dealer tells me car not right,new engine being repaced at the moment.vw reliability a joke kev.

i had a new engine fitted a while back due to a broken piston ring or something like that after less than 10,000 miles - probably a lot less. They seemed to do a good job though as its been fine since. glad for the warranty though, i doubt this car will be staying with me after the 3 years are up.
