Re: How do i keep the exhaust clean??
My exhaust is really suffering, just bought some megs and it didn't make any headway. All the suggestions of brillos / brasso etc don't you find these damage / remove the chrome on the exhaust. Car looked great the weekend but zoorsts let it down. Will try again with megs as just invested, will see how it goes. Advice appreciated.

You could try some steel wool for the tough bits/ any marks

I wouldn't have thought Brasso would do any harm its just a solvent as far as I know. I use Silvo (like Duraglit) which is solvent impregnated padding which gets most of the muck off although it does need several applications and some rubbing. However even after that there are still some baked on black bits which it either can't remove or need even more rubbing.

Re: How do i keep the exhaust clean??
Hi all,
I had to use wire wool on the tips as well, no way meguiars was going to shift that lol. Once the wire wool had done the trick, the megs metal polish finished the job nicely. I think the trick is once you get the car keep the 'zorst pipes clean regularly
Dont leave it 10 months until the pipes get a clean like I have lol
Cheers
Clive
