Cool looking (iPhone) car charger(s)...

Post by Ericske »

Lookin' for a charger for my iPhone, i stumbled accros these two gems. I think they will fit nicely in the Scirocco interior, instead of the plastic cheap-looking chargers i came across (and own  ). Available in silver and black..
Will be getting the PRO-version once it comes available... 8)

Just to let you guys (and girls) know.. :D

Have an iPod for my music, can stay in the car using the mdi lead. The iPhone will be used for calling, doesn't have my full music collection on it. Besides, my girlfriend's phone needs charging too. :D

Nice, I like the look of those!
I recently got a Griffin PowerJolt Dual Universal MicroCar charger - works well and not in the way of anything (very small), looks OEM when nothing is plugged in...

No doubt it will work, have one of those myself.. :D
But it looks rather cheap imo and pulls away the attention from the rest of the cool-looking (and expensive) dash

By the way, here's another one...

Have a Griffin PowerJolt as well and it's almost seamless with the lighter hole giving you 2 usb ports for charging...

I use a Duracell mini USB charger. Blue led. Looks cool but you will need an iPod cable as well

For £3.75 all in , you can't go wrong! I also like the fact it's very low profile so If I'm using my Iphone as sat nav I can plug it in and rest it on a cloth in the ash tray (not ideal I know but waiting to get a holder that will fit under the dash like my tomtom car kit used to)
I have an ipod classic in the arm rest, hence the need for a seperate charger.
Time will tell how reliable such a small device will be though......

I also like the low profile and the unobtrusiveness - use mine daily and no problems to date; so far so good - my phone on one and my work's trip log tracker on the other ;)

Aye cheers for the link, Ive just ordered myself one. The bluetooth connectivity in my Rocco is class but drains the battery on my iPhone something rotten! This will be spot on and look nice and subtle at the same time.
