Winter Detailing - Miglior.co.uk

Post by capster »

I have now had my car nearly 3 years and 31K miles, so as you can imagine the paintwork was showing signs of wear & tear.

As I am planning to keep the car I felt she was due a little more than my usual wash and wax so I decided to get the car booked in at Miglior Detailing, a couple of lads at work have had their cars done there and the results have been very impressive, even months after they had had the work done.

So I arranged to take the car up the night before, Jay (real name John, but everyone calls him Jay?) talked me through what he felt the car would need, no pressure selling just honest advice, the car was covered in stone chips, thanks to the boys in blue going past me at 70mph+ on a road that had just had a fresh coat of sprayed on chippings, 20mph warning signs obviously mean nothing to the boys in blue!!!!!!!

Jay advised I go for the sealant rather than the wax as at this time of year it would give more protection against the road salts etc so I left the car with him and arranged to pick it up the following evening.

When I picked the car up the following evening, I was blown away it was like new, in fact the paintwork looked better than it did when I first picked it up from the showroom. Jay had spent virtually 12 hours lovingly restoring her back to her former glory.

Please have a look at the photographs to see what a fantastic job Jay has done, I think you will then understand why I have done the write up. :)

Will send you pm as I don't think it's fair to Jay as the condition of every car is different, I am not proud to say but mine was in pretty bad nick, I personally felt the price I paid was great value for money.

Yes thanks for that, Jay does a cracking job you certainly wont be dissapointed.

Testimony to Jay's work is that I am on the flight path of a flock of canada geese who never seem to miss my car but a quick hose down every day clears the sh**e and the car still beads the water effortlessly.
