Second gen roc!

Post by ArgyleMatt »

Hay guys,

Have to say I'm very excited, had my first roc since dec 08, a white 2.0 tdi (140) non gt dsg, and enjoyed every 50k miles. When I first bought the car it was the only car that ticked ALL the boxes, had to look great, fit the clubs/kids!, have a fast auto (wife can only drive auto), and put a bloody big smile on my face!

If anyone is reading this thinking of buying a roc for the first time, there is literally NO other car that ticks so many boxes..assuming the following;
- you do not have more than £25k (£300 p/m est) to spend on a new car
- you love driving
- you don't want to be average Joe
- you need more than two seats

Now after 3 years of great driving I've just put a deposit on my new 2.0 tsi gt dsg. The canal boat did it's job, but now I've changed my job to something more local and I can't wait to get behind 210bhp of fun!

So here's to another 3 years of awsome driving fun but this time with all this trimmings!!

Well it must be a good car for you to be buying a second!

My new one gets delivered to tomorrow by 1pm.

140bhp tdi gt manual in White. They had this one in stock and ready to go so couldn't be bothered to wait for a dsg one. Means I can give this rental mini back (which to be fair is a good all round car).

Never driven a roc. Never been in a roc so this will be interesting!

(still miss my M3)
