hi all
i have a candy white rocco and at the moment i use Dodo Juice 'Supernatural' Premium Wax and it i good i just fancy change, i want the best protection and shine for my rocco but im just browsing the web and there's soft waxes hard waxes and colored waxes (which iv heard are over rated) and spray waxes just wondering if anyone knows the difference and what difference it would make on the paint of my rocco.

Hey James on my Candy i use the AutoGlym Deep Shine Wax (hard) or if I'm in a rush their Spray Wax. Here is my thread with pix of the Deep Shine Wax Link

I use the Jeffs Werkstatt spray system - very impressed with it.

waw thats clean, iv got poorboys but im not sure i agree with it i like my dodo, is the wheel sealant good because i have it but have never used it haha

I find with the wheel sealant on when I come to cleaning the wheels a 5 minute soaking with Bilberry and a blast of the jet wash they come up lovely before getting anywhere near them with the mitt.

after reading this i went to the web ad ordered a bunch of stuff haha that stuff that turns purple sounds good iv ordered some of that, where did you get the pflege stick from thats ace?

The gummi stick was just off eBay, can't remember who the exact seller was now as I've had it few years, it should be easy enough to find.

i use the carlack 68 sealant, half mixed with water because on its own, it dries too quickly before buffing. Once diluted it behaves like a spray sealant, spray on - wipe off.
For my roof and bonnet, i am experimenting with those nano-sealant oily liquid, like opti-seal. I find it less 'wet' looking but it does beads water like no other. Bird poo tends not to grip on the surface and just goes with the water.
The carlack i use for the side and back gives a more 'ceramic' look and very glossy and 'wet'. However, it does not bead as good.
I have also added a couple of layers of the Dodo light fantastic soft wax on top of the carlack68, on the front wings just to see how it is. Color wise, not as sharp as the door but beads water well. However, wax does not last long, so for me, its sealant all the way with winter around the corner.
