Shaun has managed it at home http://www.sciroccocentral.co.uk/forum/ ... =37&t=7679" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; I'm not sure how much a dealer would try & charge, if they thought they could do it at all, but i'm sure it certainly wouldn't be a nice sum of cash :fall:

You really need to just ask your dealer to see if they will do it as we don't know who your dealer is or if they do these sort of things, I very very much doubt they will do it and if they do you will be charged the earth, you can do it yourself (I know as I did it myself), also a company called VWcruise do it although I am sure they charge over £800, you have to ask yourself do you really need them ?, if you do it yourself your looking at about £300 for parts and you also need VCDS to program the controllers.

I have got folding mirrors, but I hardly ever use them as you have to turn the switch each time you use them, they do not move on their own when you turn off the car, and I don't think you can change this......

I've looked into this extensively and even though the seat leon does it (similar controllers) it doesn't seem possible on the VW platforms.

Use them all the time (not just in my Scirocco), mainly on very narrow rural roads: single-track jobbies. Then flick 'em out when I come back into town. Also parked on the street. Fact they don't auto fold/unfold on locking/unlocking...minor inconvenience.
