How did you get on? It doesn't look like there is any way to put them on without scratching the paintwork plus there are no markers at the front to fix to.
If anyone has a close up pic of where the feet meet the body work and put my fears to rest that they won't destroy the roof I might buy the fitting kit and have a go.
I don't need the rest of it for now as I can borrow a roof box and the right foot pack from either my brother (mkvI Golf) or plastic brother in law (MkII Leon) as they are both the same bits apart from the fitting kit.
Another point I have picked up on too. Has anyone fitted these bars to a Scirocco with a panoramic roof as a couple of websites have said they do not fit and I am buggered if am am going to shell out for my own set if this is the case as my new Scirocco I am getting in September has the pano roof.
