Did you spec a R line multiple function steering wheel ?, if you did and paid for it etc then the dealer should sort it out.

What makes you think it's standard ?, I think the wheel will have an R line logo but you need to pay for the buttons as an extra option ?!

Trico,
the r line scirocco is not available in the UK so we can't be sure. The pics I've found of r line rocs from the continent show multifunction steering wheels but the best bet would be to look at the spec on the VW site for your country & see if that includes the multifunction steering wheel or highline computer (which works in coordination with the mfsw).

The R-line wheel will have the R-line version of the silver trim at the bottom of the steering wheel - they're interchangeable e.g. Someone with a GT TDI could get the GTD one.

Check out the facebook page of someone who has one - no multifunction steering wheel there:-

Unless you specced up a multifunction steering wheel in addition to R-line, I don't think you'll get one. The newer style wheel looks completely wrong without the buttons.

£230 for a multifunction one with one of the Portuguese ebayers if you're desperate, but is the wiring all there to accomodate, or do they use a different loom.
