Well, that's the last time the kids are allowed in the Scirocco...
Anyone ever had to clean sick out of the cloth seats? Any tips would be appreciated!
The combination of the bucket seat and mesh cloth is absolutely perfect at collecting and retaining the spue BTW...

You are never going to get rid of the smell. every hot day it will be back, never let kids in my car or milk bottles- spilt milk is just as bad. Having said that Autoglym upholstry cleaner is very good- try it

Well, thanks for those comforting words dude!
After some emergency Dettol and Bicarbonate of Soda, I went to Halfords and picked up some:
http://www.autoglym.com/enGB/product-pr ... FM&Range=1
and some
http://www.autoglym.com/enGB/product-pr ... HL&Range=1
The foamy shampoo is easy to use and has certainly made the seats look clean, but it doesn't have a very strong scent, and there's still a lingering odour of bad cheese, even with the windows open all afternoon.
I think a couple more treatments will be needed. But hey, it was 3 for 2 at Halfords so I got some wheel cleaner too!

Re: Sick Vomit Barf Spue
By coincidence, i am looking at the subject of seat cleaning!
I don't know how well these works, but i have been looking at the rug doctor machine you can hire from the drycleaners. They have a hose attachment that allows you to deepclean the seat like you would with carpet.
For the puke smell, i have no idea. Google it to see if there are other who had similar experiences.
The seat material is a pig to clean!

Enzyme odour eater or Autosmart Bio-brisk as you want to attack the bacteria not mask it, the later I use as we do a lot of contract cars from leasing companies and they have had their fair share lol.

Ozon treatment is the best. Just let it run for 8-12 hours inside the car.
I used an airozon 5000 for the job.
Before i cleaned the spot with detol and steam cleaner.
It will take a few weeks before the ozon smell is out of the car.
