Having issues pluggin in my Lg optimus 2x with a 32g externalcard ,doesnt reconize it in the 510 display.Just does say "intilizing" and then no device .
have tryed put all files with out mapping still not working . Worked once thoe ..um . ;) any ideas ?

What formatting is the 32GB card - FAT, FAT32, etc.

Afaik, the card must be formatted as FAT32 to work properly with the RNS510 - I previously tried NTFS (no joy) and FAT (also no Joy)

Update:
I just tested my unit with all 3 formats, and only the FAT32-formatted card was able to be read... ;)

Windows vista / 7 would format the device as exfat which rns510 can't read. Try formatting it with fat32formater http://www.ridgecrop.demon.co.uk/index. ... format.htm

a nice thx , ;) thoe i turned in my phone aswell since it had some reading problems true normal usb so might be that ;) gnna do that when i get it back thx alot ! ;)

ah sorry .I refered to that it might be my phone thats causing the problem so i returned the phone for service.

thx Thoe appaerently Its Lg optimus 2x thats the problem . Tryed with other phones and they working perfect (with the 32gig card aswell) . Therefor waiting for a update to 2.3 to fix the issue .

Will try updating the firmware and see if it solves it ;)

Many thanks for posting this . I've been waiting for an MDI update that would finally stop the dreaded track jumping on Ipod track change. I did the update yesterday and played thru several albums and all is perfect!! :clap:
Only had the car 2 years !
I'll continue testing then might start a new thread
