Hello all

today we took delivery of Vyvyan our Viper Green beast.
He is a 170PS Diesel DSG. pretty standard really apart from DAB radio, parking sensors..

And first impressions.. AMAZING.
I am replacing my 2007 Golf GTI DSG and to be honest there isn't that much difference really
The Scirocco has amazing pull between 2-4k revs and there engine note is very lovely.. sounds like a V8!!

So.. VERY happy so far.. even though it took nearly 6 months, VW lost the order and yesterday the dealer (you will love this) couldnt fit the Cruise control and actually offered to fit an aftermarket non VW cruise control.. and charge us an extra £600 for it.. we said "Go and get F..... and sort it out"... He did and its all good now.

so.. here are the first piccies..

so did we.. but it was a little delayed whilst they struggled with the cruise control.. and made a mess of putting my plate on it

so that's still to be done...


But.. Vyvyan is AMAZING.. The 170PS diesel is absolutely gobsmacking.. much better than I expected. In DSG SPORT mode with sport suspension setting I honestly think its better than my 2007 Golf GTI.,

So I LOVE THIS CAR..

Looks great! Like the way the dealer had it covered up so you could have it 'revealed' to you! I wonder if all dealers do that?? :) Congrats.

Your never too old for Viper Green. I have one on order and I'm a very young 52 year old and looking forward to my well planned mid-life crisis. Everyone should have one !!!
