I guess the system works to stop spammers... but its not helping anyone on this forum potentially sell their Scirocco to me...

all we ask is you make a contribution to the site before you have access to it. so, to be blunt, by not doing that you're not helping yourself.

But it also serves as some protection to sellers that people can't just sign up and phish to try and scam them.

We're not asking for a huge contribution. It's a fairly nominal number of posts.
